Flagged off the SKF Goa River Marathon 2024 at the Chicalim Village Panchayat Ground organized by the Vasco Sports Club. The 14th edition of this prestigious event offered participants the chance to compete in various categories, including the challenging full marathon, half marathon, and shorter distances of 10 km and 5 km.
This marathon continues to be a landmark event, bringing together lovely people from across India and around the world. With participants from 13 countries, including a winner from Australia, the event demonstrates Goa’s growing reputation as a hub for large-scale sports events.
As the event continues to grow, it’s a matter of pride that it happens in our constituency, Dabolim, which speaks volumes of how far we’ve come. Thank you to everyone involved, and we look forward to an even bigger edition next year.
