Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade visited Sikkim on a study tour and to attend meetings with representatives from Power and Energy, local banks, Tourism and Aviation, SREDA, and concerned officers of the Government of India and the Government of Sikkim.

During the visit, Shri Tanavade also attended a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Subordinate Legislation of the Rajya Sabha in Gangtok, chaired by MP Shri Milind Deora. The meeting was attended by MPs Smt. Ranjeet Ranjan, Shri C. Ve. Shanmugam, and officials from the State Bank of India. Discussions focused on key regulatory matters and the role of subordinate legislation in ensuring effective governance.
