On date 14/07/2025 In a significant show of support for Goa’s historic Communidade lands, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs Eng. Cruz Silva and Capt. Venzy Viegas actively participated in the ‘Save Communidade Save Goa’ campaign meeting held at Chinchinim.
Taking to social media, AAP Goa tweeted about the meeting, reaffirming the party’s commitment to protecting the Communidades — traditional village institutions that have long been at the heart of Goa’s land management and cultural identity.
At the meeting, both MLAs assured gathered components and community members that AAP will raise their concerns fearlessly and serve as the most reliable and strongest voice in the upcoming Assembly session.
Capt. Venzy and Eng. Cruz emphasized the need to safeguard Communidade lands from alleged misuse, encroachment, and political interference, promising to keep the issue alive inside and outside the Assembly.
