The registration of the FIR against Rama Kankonkar in my view, is illegal & a clear misuse of police powers. Such kind of attempt at censorship of activists and attempt to instil fear amongst people the people is reminiscence of Hitler’s tactics of silencing dissent. Freedom of speech is bedrock of democracy. I condemn arrest of Rama Kankonkar & pledge support to him.
