Goa Tourism Takes Action against Unauthorized Paramotor Flying Activity

*Goa, February 3, 2025* : The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, has taken strict action against unauthorized paramotor flying activities conducted at Keri Beach.

As per Section 22 of the Goa Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982, a fine of ₹1,00,000/- has been imposed on the person engaged in unauthorized activity, to be paid within 30 days. Failure to comply will attract additional penalties, and the amount will be recovered as arrears of land revenue if unpaid. The Tourist Police Unit, has been directed to monitor and ensure that the violator does not engage in unauthorized activities in the future.

The Department of Tourism remains committed to ensuring compliance with regulations to promote safe and responsible tourism in the state. Unauthorized tourism activities will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against violators to safeguard tourists and uphold Goa’s tourism standards.
