Goa | 04/08/2025 | Porvorim Dust Crisis| Porvorim locals are raising strong concerns over the unbearable dust clouds caused by the ongoing Porvorim Bridge construction. Despite months of work, the road remains incomplete, creating serious inconvenience for daily commuters.
As per information Residents complain that the development delay has resulted in thick layers of dust, making the air unbreathable. Shopkeepers, schoolchildren, and senior citizens are the worst affected. Locals demand urgent dust suppression measures and faster completion of the project.
Many also allege that despite repeated complaints, authorities have failed to address the health and safety issues caused by the construction.
The situation calls for immediate action to ensure that infrastructure development does not come at the cost of public health.
